Genetically Modified Farmers

Genetically modified plants and livestock that has been shot up with more steroids than a professional athlete. Yummy!
I like this strip (Cow and Boy) for the subtle way it approaches controversial issues. The madness of the world is treated as completely normal in this comic which makes the eccentricities of the family all the more enjoyable. This comic seamlessly weaves philosophy and politics into the fabric of an all American Midwestern farming families day to day life. It’s not about the art, it’s the dialog that makes this a rather edgy and interesting read. Plus I love the grin on his fathers face while preparing to dope the cow.
